Popular solar panel buying scheme returns
Have you been thinking about getting solar panels?
The popular solar panel scheme Solar Together has returned to help North Somerset residents generate clean, local, renewable energy to power their home.
North Somerset Council is once again working with partners the West of England Combined Authority (WECA) and independent group-buying collective iChoosr Ltd on the second round of Solar Together.
This innovative scheme uses the collective bargaining power of many local households to purchase solar panels and batteries, and their installation, at a very competitive price.
The first round of Solar Together ran in 2021 and resulted in 3,000 solar panels being installed at properties across North Somerset. Feedback from previous Solar Together customers found that the top reasons for joining the scheme include:
- hassle-free process
- trustworthy pre-approved contractor
- high quality panels and installation
- more affordable price compared to buying directly from an installer.
