I have received this information from NSC Highways following the recent issue of a roadworks permit;
The above permit is a forward plan which is made in the early stages to give an idea of dates of proposed works.
The works form part of Yatton High Street Improvement works, which include 20mph speed limit, pedestrian crossings and traffic calming.
The current intention is for two way lights along North End Road for the first week of September, to be moved to different points from 09.30 til 15.30.
Then the speed cushions and other road markings will be carried out overnight for 2 nights at the end of September under a road closure from Arnolds Way to Claverham Road. These are the current proposals, these may be subject to change.
So no immediate worry then!
