M5 Overnight Roadworks

M5 J21 to J20 northbound
Overnight works – 15 January to 12 February 2024
We’ll be carrying out overnight resurfacing on the M5 northbound between junctions 21 and
20. The majority of the work will be carried out under lane closure, but some overnight closures will also be necessary (see below).
We’ll work overnight, Monday to Friday, when traffic flows are at their lowest. Where possible we’ll complete the noisiest works
before 11pm.
During the day the M5 will be open as usual.
Traffic management
Work will take place from 8pm in the evening to 6am the following morning. Where possible work will be carried out under lane closure. However, the following closures will also be in place:
• 18, 23 and 29 January 2024 – M5 J21 northbound entry slip will be closed. A diversion will be in place via J22.
