Energy Workshop

We’re getting in touch to invite you to an upcoming workshops
The workshop is hosted in Partnership with Low Carbon Gordano (a local community energy organisation), North Somerset Council and The Centre for Sustainable Energy (CSE, an energy charity based in Bristol). It will take place in Clevedon on 11 October (see poster here (PDF opens in a new window)
The workshop will enable us to gain insights and opinions from local residents on the future of energy generation in their area. Nationally there is fairly widespread support for renewable energy, however at a local level this can disappear. We believe that by engaging directly with communities we can bridge this gap and give local people a say on what goes on in their area.
We want to gain a real understanding of local people’s attitudes to different renewable energy technologies and the sorts of renewable energy projects they might feel comfortable hosting.
More information can be found on CSE’s website. This is project is funded through Energy Saving Trust’s Redress fund with more information on their website. We would love to have a diverse mix of people and opinions from the immediate area at the workshop.
