These include the design and safety of the scheme, access for disabled people and those living adjacent to the scheme, and whether users understand the new arrangements.

It will also look at any impacts on trade and parking.

Two public meetings have already been held to listen to residents’ feedback on the scheme and everyone in the local community is now invited to get involved and share their views in the review.

There will be plenty of opportunities for people to contribute to the process so their experiences of the scheme can inform the review’s recommendations.

Once the review has ended, AECOM will prepare a report for NSC setting out recommendations.

There will also be a further public meeting in the town in late October for local people to hear about the review’s conclusions.

The decisions then made about the future of the scheme will be considered at a meeting of the NSC Executive, which will be open to the public.
