The Living Orchard

A talk on orchard wildlife, cider tasting, and the launch of 100 Orchards.  Join us at Kingston Seymour Village Hall for an evening of orchards, wildlife and cider.

The evening will include a talk by orchard expert Les Davies, West countryman, who will present:-
The Living Orchard — an engaging introduction to the biodiversity and seasonal life of traditional orchards.
There will also be a cider tasting, a chance to hear the story of a local traditional orchard, and an opportunity to celebrate the launch of 100 Orchards – a new charity supporting the future of traditional orchards. Traditional orchards are beautiful, wildlife-rich places, but they are under threat. This event is a chance to discover more about why they matter, enjoy a good local evening, and be part of something new.

The evening includes:
* A talk by orchard expert Les Davies
* Cider tasting
* The story of a local traditional orchard
* The launch of 100 Orchards
Whether you’re interested in nature, local heritage, orchards or cider, you’d be very welcome.
Hosted by Allcott’s Orchard (an orchard just down the road from the village hall!), Branch Cider, and the team behind 100 Orchards.

Tickets: £7.50 and available
