The Kingston Seymour Bridge Club meets in the Village Hall on Tuesday evenings to play duplicate bridge. We start at 7:15pm and usually play 24 hands, with a tea and biscuit break at half-time, and aim to be packed up and out of the hall by 10:30pm at latest.
We like to think of ourselves as being a pretty friendly bunch, with an enjoyable evening being as important (and more achievable for most of us!) as topping the table.
We have 40+ members (not all of them from the village!) and average around 6 tables on club evenings. We’re affiliated to the English Bridge Union (EBU) via the Somerset Contract Bridge Association (SCBA) and master points are awarded for most of our club events.
Table money is £2.00 for club members and £3.00 for guests and visitors, with the tea, coffee and biscuits included at no additional charge.
Visitors and prospective new members are always welcome. If you’re interested, have a look at our website here and then perhaps call one of the committee members (their details are in the ‘club information’ section) to learn more.
We look forward to seeing you!
